ZANDER BREKKE General Counsel/Director of Human Resources, Mud Pie Brekke has a law degree from George Washington University Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He came to Mud Pie from Stanley, Esrey & Buckley where he practiced corporate, employment and real estate law. Brekke has gained a solid understanding of the gift industry in a very short amount of time. He has been instrumental in finding the right talent to support the rapid growth of Mud Pie. NNEKA M. BROWN-MASSEY Founder/Creative Director, Innovative Supplies Worldwide, Inc. Brown-Massey is a former U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. Thirty days after finishing her nine-year contract in the Army, she launched Innovative Supplies Worldwide, Inc. Within 24 hours of opening up her e-commerce site sold more than 8,000 stationery notebooks and was featured on Essence, Blavity and JET. Georgia Governor Nathan Deal recognized the company with the 2017 G.L.O.B.E. award. KYLE CASSIN Director of Retail, Keeneland Association Cassin's time working with leading sports merchandising and licensing professionals gave him the opportunity to take a chance in Thoroughbred Racing three years ago. Cassin and his team are proud to have transformed The Keeneland shop into a highly curated, omni-channel experience that has quickly become a model for other racing facilities around the country. COURTNEY COCHRAN Design & Marketing Director, Hester & Cook Cochran entered the gift industry in 2005. Her lifelong love of stationery, aptitude for creative thinking, and keen eye for detail continue to guide her career. In addition to her contributions to the gift and stationery industry, Cochran is heavily involved in her community through volunteer work, her support of the arts, and as a board member of the Wonderful Life Foundation. LAURA DAMIANO Owner/Creative Director, Laura Damiano Designs Damiano creates one-of-a-kind stationery and branding that expresses her clients' unique personalities and stories surrounding their events. Her mission is to be an integral part of clients' projects and make each design unique. Damiano has won several prestigious awards during the eight years she has been in business. TARA DIKOS Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Transpac Dikos has worked within the gift home industry nearly 18 years. Her career began as a corporate gift sales representative moving on to be co-founder of a multi-line rep agency and then working in digital marketing, e-commerce and social media. At Transpac, Dikos has been able to drive significant top line and bottom line growth as well as has played an integral role in re-defining the company's culture while sharing her undeniable passion for the industry. JAMIE GROBECKER Founder, Sugar Paper Grobecker's love of paper began early on in life. Her mother always taught her the value of a handwritten note and the importance of manners, so when her college friend Chelsea Shukov asked her to help make beautiful designs on a letterpress machine she purchased on eBay, Grobecker was all in. Together they started making stationery for friends and before they knew it, they had a business on their hands. MARGO GIANOS Owner/Developer, Honestly Margo With her mom, Irene, Gianos launched Honestly Margo in 2013. In addition to running a growing bath and beauty brand, she is entering her senior year of high school, participates in school sports, and is an active member of her church. When Gianos isn't hanging out with friends, she loves to come up with fun and unique products to bring to the marketplace. GIFTSHOPMAG.COM 85
